Forgiving others is the 'Ego'

Forgiving others can sometimes preserve the story of what they did.
Self-forgiveness releases the need to carry the story at all.
True forgiveness is not saying, ‘I forgive you.’
It is reaching a place within where nothing needs to be forgiven anymore
When the self stops judging itself, the energy that was being projected onto others begins to return to stillness.
Forgiveness of others can still contain the ego of the forgiver.
Self-forgiveness begins where the identity of the wounded self starts dissolving.
The deepest forgiveness does not make the other person innocent or guilty.
It simply frees your energy from the relationship with the wound.
Self-forgiveness is not another spiritual task.
It is the dropping of the inner resistance that was disturbing your own energy.
The ego says, “I forgive you,” because it still remembers who hurt whom, what happened, and who was right or wrong.
Even forgiveness can sometimes keep the separation alive, the “I” who forgives and the “other” who must be forgiven.
True inner release begins when we stop carrying the event as an identity, a wound, or a debt.
Self-forgiveness is deeper because it turns attention away from changing another person and toward releasing the conflict within.
It does not justify what happened, nor does it deny the pain; it simply refuses to keep feeding it with thought and emotion.
When the need to blame, explain, punish, or even forgive slowly dissolves, the energy becomes quiet again.
There is no longer a battle between the past and the present.
Nothing needs to be returned, corrected, or carried. The mind stops holding what the heart has already outgrown.
The ego says, “I forgive you.” Stillness says, There is nothing left to hold.
